Single-outlet protection for smaller properties. Everything you need to respond quickly and protect your home from initial fire starts.
Dual-outlet coverage for larger properties. Professional-grade protection on multiple sides of your home. The same equipment used by fire departments.
The complete package for homeowners who want full-scale protection now. The integrated water tank or pool pump backfeeds all hydrants, so your entire system does not rely on public water supply. We assess, design, install, and maintain.
A Hainy Hydrant can be operated by anyone on scene, with no power, app, or training required. Turn the valve. Pick up the hose. That's it.
You know your property, your access points, and where fire approaches from. A permanent hydrant means you can respond to ember ignitions immediately, before they become something bigger.
You may evacuate. Your neighbor may stay. Whoever is on scene can defend your home. Fully equipped, no setup required. The system is always ready for whoever shows up first.
Built with the same professional-grade equipment used by the US Forestry Service and LA County Fire Department. NH fittings are standard across all fire departments, when a crew arrives, they hook up and go.
Most residential water mains deliver 50-150 PSI, pressure that gets reduced once it enters the home. A Hainy Hydrant connects upstream of that drop and harnesses the full force of what's already there, delivering maximum pressure at the nozzle when you need it.
A Hainy Hydrant delivers 30+ gallons per minute through a professional fire-rated hose; a garden hose manages about 8 and melts under radiant heat. Here's how the two compare on the numbers that matter in a fire.

Matt Haines is a builder and an L.A. County Call Firefighter who has lived in Corral Canyon, Malibu, since the 1990s. He's been through some of the most devastating wildfires in California history, the Corral Fire, the Woolsey Fire, the Palisades Fire, and has been involved on the ground, protecting his community.
When the Corral Fire swept through Malibu, Matt was on the ground defending homes in his neighborhood with his own personal fire equipment. After saving multiple neighbors' homes, he was recognized with the city's Citizen of the Year honor, the Malibu Dolphin Award. Since then, he knew the way to save your home is to take first action, and he began installing hydrant systems throughout Malibu communities. Today, every third house on his street has one.
Now his son-in-law Lasse has joined the mission. Two generations, both from construction, with a shared passion for protecting the communities they live in. They're bringing Hainy Hydrant, built on decades of real firefighting experience, to more families across California.
"I didn't set out to start a company. I just wanted my neighbors to be properly equipped to save their family homes."
